If you install Japanese on Windows 10 Pro (English base) and later remove it, the Japanese IME sometimes remains as an option in the taskbar even though the language pack is gone. If you installed a language pack but did not set it as the default during installation, you can change it manually at any time. Navigate to > Time & Language > Language .
