Since the Nokia 6.1 Plus uses an A/B partition scheme, (using fastboot flash recovery recovery.img ). That command will fail. Instead, you must boot into the recovery and then install it using the recovery’s installer ZIP.

Because the Nokia 6.1 Plus utilizes an A/B partition system, the recovery cannot be flashed directly to a dedicated recovery partition. Instead, it must be temporarily booted first, then permanently installed. Step 1: Enable USB Debugging Open on your phone.
