For versions up to 15, Paragon released separate installation files for each supported language. The language was chosen at the time of purchase and was fixed to that specific installer. This meant you could not simply switch the language from within the software after installation.

(Note: Depending on your specific version, the folder might include the version number, such as Hard Disk Manager 17 ).

Unlike some applications that ask for your language during installation, Paragon often defaults to your system’s regional settings or the language of the installation package you downloaded.

There are two primary methods to change the language in Paragon Hard Disk Manager: during installation and after installation.

Some Paragon versions (especially 14–16) inherit the language from Windows’ regional settings. If you want Paragon in English but your Windows is, say, in French, you can temporarily change the system language for non-Unicode programs.
