Acer has officially discontinued NitroSense support for several older laptop models, including the popular Nitro 5 AN515-54 and AN515-45. For these models, Acer now recommends installing version 4.00.3058 (from April 2025) or later. This software includes the same core features, such as fan control and system monitoring, and is the only fully supported and compatible option for these older devices. Installing the old NitroSense version on these models may lead to software conflicts or malfunctions.
