By analyzing key films such as Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom (2012), Super Deluxe (2019), and Jigarthanda DoubleX (2023), this paper argues that the ‘cool’ aesthetic is not merely a superficial trend but a sophisticated cinematic response to the urban, post-globalization youth identity in Tamil Nadu.
